Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell is an American celebrity chef on television and former instructor at the Institute of Culinary Education. She is the host of the Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant Chef as well as co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, in her Food Network series Secrets of a Restaurant Cook shows easy to master techniques and her trademark hairstyles that are spiky and blond. Chef Burrell was also employed by several of the most prestigious restaurants that are located in New York, studied the cuisine and culture of Italy and competed in the Food Network's Iron Chef America. When she was a kid in Upstate New York Chef Burrell was infatuated by food. The Culinary Institute of America was the next step for her when she finished with an Associate of Arts degree in English and Communications in the fall of 2004 from Canisius College Buffalo NY. I enjoyed every moment as a student The Culinary Institute of America she says. It was difficult to master, do or work enough. Following graduation, Burrell worked at La Bottega del 30 in Tuscany and La Taverna del Lupo (in Umbria) while attending an Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. The time she spent in Italy helped her to understand and appreciate Italian tradition and philosophy, and this has left an impact on her own perception of food. Burrell is a well-known ambassador for the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation. She also was a part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which aids children with obstacles. She travels frequently around the nation in her capacity in the capacity of mentor as well as public speaker in which she speaks about her work and passion for cooking. Anne said she felt lucky that I could be able to share her passion for cooking with many others.
