Kellie M. Martin, a native of the United States is an American television and film actress. She is best known for playing Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher as well as Lucy Knight on the series ER. Kellie Martin is best known for her part as the protagonist of The Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Martin was born to an employee of a department store and a kindergarten instructor. She began acting as a child at the age of seven. her Aunt, who was a nanny in Michael Landon's family, helped Martin to be an actor on the TV show Father Murphy. After after her Yale University graduation, she started to focus on acting, and managed to get major roles on both cinema and television. Martin is also a photographer and a dancer. She is a mom of two, and also the official spokesperson for Lupus. Following her sister's tragic death at the age of 19 Martin has been working to raise awareness about the condition.
